Bestminton Open 3rd Tournament has come to a great end. We had a lot of great games, made new friends, and plenty of stories.
Here are a few we’d love to share.

Congratulations to all of our winners, and well played to everyone who participated!
This was the tournament with the most teams joining since we changed the format. We’re really happy that everything went smoothly and that everyone enjoyed the event.
To be honest, for a few reasons, we almost canceled the tournament just one week before it started. But in the end, we decided to keep it on schedule.
Looking back, we feel incredibly lucky to have had so many people supporting us. We especially want to thank Jun, who worked so hard to connect players and encourage them to join the tournament right up until the last minute.
This tournament was a success because of all of you. We were just lucky enough to be the organizers.
We also talked with Ngoc-Anh, who was both one of the organizers and a player in the tournament.
This time, we had one team that was clearly stronger than the rest. Even so, this ended up being the tournament with the highest number of participating teams.
Almost every team believed that Yao & Sharon would become the champions, and they were right. So why join a tournament when you already think you know who’s going to win?
Ngoc-Anh shared that he also believed Yao & Sharon would win from the moment they signed up. But he and his partner still decided to play for two reasons:
- They wanted to challenge themselves against stronger players.
- They still had a chance to reach the final.
If you can put winning and losing aside for a moment and simply enjoy each match as a conversation between friends, badminton feels completely different.
That’s exactly how Ngoc-Anh and his partner approached the tournament. Every rally became a way to communicate with their opponents—whether they were longtime friends or people they had just met. The tournament gave all of us a chance to meet, connect, and share the court with people from different places and different backgrounds.
At the end of the day, the tournament isn’t just about who wins or loses. It’s about bringing people together, making new connections, and enjoying the game we all love.
