Bestminton Open #3 Tournament
This tournament, we’re trying something a little different.
- If you’d like to experience the excitement of a badminton tournament but aren’t quite confident in your skills yet, or you’re not ready to compete at your highest level, join our Intermediate Tournament on Saturday morning. It’s a great opportunity to gain experience, have fun, and enjoy the competitive atmosphere in a supportive environment.
- If you’re a more experienced player and want to have a great time, meet people from different countries, backgrounds, and skill levels, then our Open Tournament on Sunday morning is for you. Expect exciting matches, new connections, and a fun, welcoming community.
Whichever level you choose, we look forward to seeing you on the court!

Joining the After Party does not require participation in the Bestminton Open #3 Tournament.
You can pay in cash or by bank transfer in VND. Just message us on Messenger or Instagram.
Registration Conditions
Intermediate Level
- You must have attended at least one session with either our meetup group or the Thao Dien Badminton Group
Open for Everyone
- Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of experience level.
Note: The organizers reserve the right to determine whether a player is eligible to participate in the Intermediate Level Tournament.
Event kits
Everyone joining the tournament will receive an event kit that includes a racket grip, a bottle of mineral water, and a shoe-cleaning spray
Number of Teams
- 6 teams minimun/category
- 16 teams maximum/category
Match Format
- Intermediate level on Saturday: Mixed Doubles
- Open for Everyone on Sunday: Mixed Doubles & Men’s Doubles
Tournament Rules
- Group Stage Setup
- Teams will be divided into 2 groups through a random draw.
- The group stage will follow a round-robin points system:
• Win = 3 points, Loss = 0 points - The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
- Consolation Bracket
- The bottom 2 teams from each group will compete in the consolation bracket, using the same match format as the knockout stage for the top 2 teams.
- Match Formats
• Group stage: 1 game to 21 points
• Quarterfinals, Semifinals & 3rd place playoff: 1 game to 25 points
• Final: 3 game to 21 points
